Plan
The design for the new Circular Lawns scheme using circles as the theme. The lawns showcase the existing trees and the new terrace opens up the garden. The garden had to be suitable for wheelchair access so the ugly and steep original paved steps had to go. The new slope is clad in resin bound gravel which not only looks smart and crisp but adds grip too for extra safety.

This is a sloping garden in Goring on Thames that had very steep steps leading into the garden from a very small north facing terrace.

The design opened up the garden and minimised the slope for a safer more stylish garden for my clients a newly retired couple.

A new garden transformed the property and my clients’ enjoyment of it.

I designed the lawns sweeping around two existing trees with Mediterranean planting to suit the dry chalky site.
