Why Teak Contemporary Garden Furniture?

Teak is extremely lightweight so it can be easily rearranged and should be viewed as an investment into your future and the future of your home.

Teak is the traditional hardwood to use for outdoor garden furniture.
Teak outdoor furniture requires little maintenance and tolerates all weather conditions.
Treatment is not essential as the wood is naturally oily.
However, part of the weathering process will in time develop small cracks and splits in the teak furniture and will inevitably appear, particularly on the end grain, but its strength and durability will remain unaffected.
This type of wooden garden furniture may be left untreated and will weather to a soft silvery grey over a period of a few months.
An occasional wipe or scrub down with warm water, followed by a light application of teak oil, will help to retain the original colour.
