Category: Driveways, Patio, Paving & Walls
This Driveways project started out as just a garden clearance.
The garden was overgrown and there were lots of brick and concrete structures including a substantially built ornamental Pond.
This took about two weeks to clear, using concrete breakers, mini excavator and a tipper truck to cart away the waste materials in
preparation for the new Patio Paving.
There was a lot of excavating and carting away.
All the fencing had to be made higher and stronger to retain the higher ground next door.
The garden is on two levels, so Steps had to be constructed.
The Patio area was designed by both Bob and I, with some help from Stonemaket, the suppliers of the Millstone Random Paving. The Sunburst design in the center was created using a computer generated design program.
Bob decided that he would like a Log Cabin.
So then I had to build a concrete base and install all the services.
The Log Cabin was going to be the new office and music rehearsal studio, so I had to install ducting for the electrics, water pipes for washing, shower and toilet.
I have returned to visit on many occasions and took the photos a year later.
I have had many recommendations from this project including Driveways, Flower Beds and Garden Structures. I am still friends with the family and also very proud of the project.
