Garden Design Pictures of a complex Octagonal Gazebo construction.

Gazebo Pool Deck Project Gazebo Pool Deck Project

The discussions with our client was to have a large enough raised Wood Deck for lounging with a central structure for changing and an outside room for entertainment. This area of the garden was mainly sloping and very boggy making it unusable and being sited next to the Pool was the ideal place for the structure.

Before photo across the Swimming Pool where the Wood Deck and Octagonal Gazebo is to be constructed. This photo shows why the position is perfect for a garden building of this type.

The frame is constructed using 48 100mm posts concreted 900mm in to the ground. Additional structural posts were put in place to withstand the 1.3 tonne structure. The Deck building begins with the first Deck board screwed down.

The Wood Gazebo is part constructed with 7 opening and 14 fixed windows. At this stage of the construction the balustrade can be seen, which runs right around the structure creating a safe walkway.

Timber Roof cladding has been installed prior to the slate Roof going on top. We still have the cladding to fix on the outside and the doors to install on the front.

Photo of the under side of the Roof. This needs to be constructed to withstand the slate roofs weight and also look nice from inside. The completed building with double French Doors to the front and slate Roof as per our bespoke Gazebo instructions.

View from over the Pool showing the Deck with its balustrade and walkway to the Patio edge of the Swimming Pool. The walkway gives the illusion of a Garden Bridge. With a slight modification, this garden structure could be used for hot tub enclosures.

After completing this project we were instructed to install lattice panels under the Deck to stop the dogs and cats from going under. These were all custom made to fit as all our timber structures. Although there are Gazebo Kits available, this project was entirely bespoke.
