When Landscaping, we always start with hand drawn sketches followed by the Layout Plan.

Landscaping Sketch Narrow Garden Layout Plan

This long Narrow Garden design made use of diagonal lines to draw the eye across the garden and give the impression of greater width. This also created small Spaces between the paths and Deck for flower beds.

The client was Swedish hence blue and yellow doors. Doors either side do not open but they give the impression they own next door.

This far Deck, viewed from the opposit angle, is where the outdoor garden office is.

Garden Spaces

The initial feature, the Lawn, is an ideal size for the small children to play outside of the conservatory.

The trellis panels stop the eye and break up the spaces creating more interest and symmetry.

Taller plants create height as this helps minimise the closed in feeling.

Planting the Flower Beds

The family help with planting the flower beds and get a lesson in Landscaping.

The neglected garden was made into several spaces.

The Spaces are made more interesting by our use of various types of surface ranging from conventional Decking to hardwood block Decking, old Railway Sleepers and Yorkstone.
