School Garden

The school garden section of this website has been reserved for pupils to submit their projects and for those who have been landscaping schools as professionals.

At the end of this page you will find links to school landscape design projects that were designed to teach children about horticulture, food and garden design.

Gardening has become a part of the curriculum in many schools and has proved beneficial when encouraging children to eat what is good for them.

Depending on what is being taught, school gardens may focus on vegetables, fruit and herbs or may be concentrating on flower beds or rock gardens.

If sufficient numbers of schools post their projects on this site, we may run a competition for schools in the future.
