Dry stone walls and a raised pond were used in this garden design project which demonstrates the Romantic Charm and elegance of a traditional water feature.

A meandering path leads to rustic blue metal benches and large olive pots are placed around the garden adding to the Mediterranean feel.

A small water spout has been carved out of the wall and allows the gentle sound of running water into the lily filled pond. The walls were hand built with dry stones and the flexibility of this design means it can be scaled up or down to suit any size garden.

The style of planting is Mediterranean. Large 100 year old Olive trees are under planted with thymes and drought loving perennials. Either side of the pond, large Cypress trees sway in the gentle breeze. Large boulders have been used to raise the back and a large Pomegranate tree sits in the middle with lavender below.
