Tanalised Sleeper Raised Beds for Runner Beans and other VegetablesCategory: Flower Bed DesignGarden Design Project: FBDMPG001
Our clients had a part of their garden which they wanted to convert into a growing area for Vegetables
using Raised Beds.
They wanted something functional, aesthetically pleasing and long lasting; they also wanted to be able to cover some of the beds
with mesh or fleece to keep pests out.
Three of the beds have 75 x 75 x 1600mm Tanalised posts in the corners so that the mesh or fleece can be put over the top of each bed if required.
Eyelets can be screwed in at 150-200mm spacing and gripple nylon wire can be tensioned diagonally from each post to create a climbing frame
for Runner Beans etc.
